Spartia beach is hidden in the middle of high rocks, and is easy to access by car. Best time of the day is in the afternoon when sun is setting down and colours are breath taking. Water is normally fresher than in other beaches due to streams. It’s wonderful to do snorkeling, fish watching and explore cavities. Do not expect wide spaces or sunchairs and umbrellas.
If you are staying in Spartia, it’s a fair walk, or a short drive. The service by staff is outstanding, the food choice and quality of the food is fantastic. The menu has an excellent choice of traditional Greek cuisine, the portions are large well cooked and beautifully presented. Lamb Kleftico, chocolate soufle or the lemon pie are absolutely worth to try.
